I have read old reviews from back in 2011 when. I tried to order a duck oven this morning, only to be told it was discontinued and they were not taking orders (which is why it’s on sale at the usual mail order spots). As mentioned above, the delta wading jacket (basically the uninsulated version of the hudson) would be an ideal choice if you don't mind layering on cold days. I also have the sitka delta.
I was fortunate to be one of 12 graduate students selected to attend a new delta waterfowl field course in the prairie pothole region and canadian parklands region. The idea behind the update is to make production of logo'd items less expensive and to update. I'm sure most of the guys know of the 2 can logo delta has used forever. I hunted it a lot and i did ok. I decided im going to save the money i put into refuge passes , lottery and gas money and put into a boat to hunt the delta next year.
I am still somewhat new to duck hunting. I am looking for first hand information from someone that was a member of the ms delta duck shared lease program in the last two years. Delta waterfowl and the nra both did jump in and supported local hunters rights to squash it as there was never any accidents on the lake due to hunting and conservation confirmed.
